The Green Card is an International Certificate of Insurance and it proves that its holder is covered by motor third party liability insurance in accordance with the laws of any country visited which belongs to the Green Card System
By the appropriate authorities of those countries it is considered valid without any additional paperwork and fees.
The minimum period for which the Green Card certificate is issued is 15 days. It is valid in the countries for which their national letters on the certificate are not crossed out.
